I put a lot of hours into 2042 from the Beta and ended up really enjoying it. Played every BF since BC1 and 2042 was my least favorite but it ended its life cycle in a really good state and I’m really happy they remastered Iwo Jima for the free BF6 battlepass so that others that gave up on 2042 or never played it got to see that the finished product was actually pretty good despite the disastrous launch.

Took me about 70-80 hours as well. Iwo Jima map made it quite enjoyable.

Took dozens of hours for sure, it was quite slow. However I spent most of that on Iwo Jima Breakthrough which was by far the most fun I ever had on BF2042.

And I’ve been using that Pax engineer skin in BF6 since day 1 and basically never took it off.

So no, don’t regret that grind one bit.

I did, but I'm one of those who enjoy BF2042 anyway. Don't regret it at all. The thing is, I was unimpressed with the BF6 beta so never bothered to get the game. From everything I've heard and read, I don't regret that either.

I regret not doing it because I now am missing out on the only good engineer skin
