I was discussing this with a friend today. I still play Q3A because I think that in terms of fast arena shooters is still the best in terms of fun. Do you think there is a proper modern alternative?

In all honesty there are so many great source ports for Q3A that I've not even really bothered to look for a game. I'd love to offer some recommendations but... yeah, I just keep playing Q3A or mods with Q3A.
