[](https://www.reddit.com/r/leveldesign/?f=flair_name%3A%22Help%20Wanted%22)Hi! I'm designing an underground facility for my game, and I'm looking for ideas to make simple corridor intersections more interesting.

Do you have any creative ideas for replacing a standard \\T-junction\\ with something more memorable? It could be a small room, a unique architectural feature, environmental storytelling, or anything that still naturally connects the three paths.

I'm not really looking for gameplay mechanics, just interesting layout or environmental design ideas. Pictures, sketches, or examples from other games are also welcome!

1. Loopback to a different verticality
2. Vent to bypass locked door which leads to a different room that loops back to corridor from another side
3. Underpass through electricity tunnel
Just spitting things on top of my mind after long workday

Yoo, the last 2 is a good idea, but what you mean by first point? I don't understand it very well

You are in a room at the floor level that leads somewhere that has a visible T bridge on top across the room ( 1 entrance and 2 door exit), one door gets you to a stairs room that leads up to that bridge which takes you back, and one room leads to another room with gallery and ladders that again leads back to the T-bridge. So the T bridge has 2 entrance and 1 exit to proceed forward.
