What I want them to explore is the 442nd and west coast of america more, I know they explored the civil rights with Harold and the others but if they want to bring back more the military side of things the 442nd/japanese american soldiers would be a perfect exploration of history and character interactions.

Considering about how Klaus' wife who are most likely German got shot by Nazi officers for intervening trying to literally not get her son executed, I assume they fared the same way roughly as average Americans, for that even Germans themselves are treated terribly by the state if they oppose the regime.
Not white, but they stood on the side of victory before being turned into vassal state, I assume Nazi Germany would try to keep 'ok' relationship instead of turning them into slave colony.
