I got really bored of waiting for someone to simply figure this out, so I took an excellent existing mod from Kaibz, stripped everything out (Which removed all the instabilities which kept causing loads of crashes for me and others) and just left the "Toggle to aim down sights" feature the devs should have put in this game.

Instructions to install are simple:

Copy the file to:

\\steamapps\\common\\Wolfenstein.II.The.New.Colossus

To uninstalled, delete the:
KaibzMod Folder
and
XINPUT1\_3.dll

Thats it, enjoy Toggle to Aim down sights without having to do anything else.

I extracted the raw binary to figure out what was going on and its completely safe, if anyone wants the raw docs explaining what the .dll does I can dump those in Google Drive as well.

Yeaaaaaa.... Kaibz did, and its super hacker, you have to basically fuck around with the fundimental DLL's and other encrypted shit which I had to un-compile/re-compile. There is no straight "good" answer for this. It was never designed to be modded despite the amazing potential for fan content.
