Was Quake 3 ever released on floppy disks? If yes, where can I buy it?

I don't think so. I still have my original copy I purchased on release day, and it's definitely cd. As I recall it was a large install back then, too, over 50 megabytes for sure with the swap file. That's a lot of floppies..

I got Q1 on a Zip disk, but Q3A was CD. Check Amazon, Steam or if you really gotta have the CD, Ebay.
