I've been using the dedicated .exe of quake3e but it would be nice to know if there are any better alternatives to that.

Hey guys, I'm also looking at setting up a server to play with friends during lockdown. I know there are some services that can host servers for a fee, but not many support Q3 these days and/or the servers are located in countries that don't suit.
Is there some kind of easier method these days?
