Hey everyone, i've come back to try out season 4, i dont know why but i cant seem to be able to hear anyone in voice chat, i can see their mic is ON but no matter what i try in the settings i just dont hear anyone. I tried looking on YT / google; nothing helps...
Do you guys have anything i should try ? (just did the integrity check on game files too)

Hi,
Sorry to hear you're running into this.
Since you've already verified the game files, could you check whether the correct playback device is selected both in the game settings and as the default communication device in Windows?

Hey thank's for taking the time to answer,
It only is a little annoying if i want to play solo queue in BR, i really dont mind having no voice chat in multiplayer. But players can totally hear me just fine.
Obviously the in-game sound is working just fine, but i do have Voicemeeter Banana running in the background in order to apply an equalizer (i like to lower bass, and would occasionnaly use 2 pcs to stream/record) maybe it has to do with that software, i will try playing without it next time i boot the game.
If not i'm a little lost on what's going on, in-game i can select the input device (microphone) but i cant seem to find an ingame setting to select the output device tho. I will double check as well.
I feel like i'm the only one on earth with this issue LOL

There must have been some kind of glitch. They should also double the volume for the voice chat, it's very quiet now.

Hi,
Thanks for the additional details.
Voicemeeter Banana is definitely worth testing, as software that manages or reroutes audio devices can sometimes affect voice chat separately from the rest of the game audio.
If the issue persists after disabling Voicemeeter, I'd also recommend checking whether Windows has the correct default communication device selected, since Battlefield uses that for voice chat. Let us know if testing without Voicemeeter makes any difference.
