Rise From Your Grave Achievement Need Changes!

AuthorSei-chan · 4 Jan 2026 at 04:04 · permalink

Rise from Your Grave needs to be reduced to like 100 or something.
These numbers must be lowered because they are currently not realistic. It's challenging enough to revive someone in Gauntlet or BR, considering opponents often finish them. I think out of 10 games I get like 3 revives or something?
Feels like the only way to get this achievement is to stat-pad with a group of people. I have seen people try and grind the Rise from the grave achievement, but dear gosh that is not fulfilling at all to do and super annoying.

I did the 318 stun one by shooting knocked and actually dead bodies (works too) with the assaulter thermo launcher in gauntlet for a couple hours spread over 2-3 days, 2nd worst achievement I guess but the 2000 revives gotta be a typo, if it was 200 ok but 2000 is just telling people not to 100% this game, I was thinking of doing 5-10 revives a day in gauntlet/BR as a goal but gave up at some point. I got ~7k revives in multiplayer BF6 why do I have to force myself into niche gamemodes?
Cant even track the progress since its hidden, why is a grind achievement hidden? the EA guy that posts here sometimes said its on his radar but with the ♥♥♥♥ they got going on with this game this probably will never get fixed.

In this Video you can see how to track "Rise From Your Grave" Achievment:

In theory, you could grind Rise From Your Grave solo, if you have 2 computers side by side and just play the free-to-play mode Iniation BR. I.e. keep defib'ing your other player by getting them to repeatedly drop off a building and ascend back up a rope.
But it doesn't feel like you've achieved something that way. Just a tedious grind. It would honestly put me off playing the game after that. 😄

Right?! Thats why I feel like that number should be like 30 or something, something that is still a challenge for so many reasons and still makes you feel good.
I have seen videos of how to do the grind on YouTube with people stat padding to get this achievement where they do that rope thing and die over and over to a science. Which just seems so tedious and for what?!
Its going to drive me nuts to not get this last achievement. I really hope they reduce it to 30 or so, not 1988!
The thing that gets hard to do this is that most users just skip revives all together so if you are a medic you don't even get the chance to revive the player in redsec, or they get finished off by the enemy team.
In the past 5 redsec gauntlet games I think I got 1 or 2 revives. At that pace I would have to grind thousands of games to get that achievement. Which doesn't seem realistic.
I want to play multiplayer and all the other fun stuff in the game, and not have to focus so much on redsec for revives, even though my goal oriented brain wants to achieve it!
It's my last achievement!!

Same here. I am a completionist when it comes to Steam achievements. I love to get hard, challenging, and interesting achievements. But when it's a tedious virutally impossible slow grind, it puts me off playing the game.
I could probably unlock Rise From Your Grave solo using the method I described, but it will leave mentally burnt out with the game as a whole and not want to play it again.
That's why obscenely grindy, virtually impossible achievements have the opposite effect to what the Developers intended. It puts people off the game.

Right?! Lets stat pad together!! Since this can NOT be achieved naturally while playing and shows no real skill at all.
You would have to do like 10k games to get this achievement. I get 1-3 revives per gauntlet, which is crazy how they want 1988 revives.... Whoever thought of that number is a moron.

Hi all,
From a game design perspective, achievements and challenges are designed with purpose in mind. Some are intended to be more accessible, while others are more challenging, helping players build skills, experience a sense of accomplishment, encourage teamwork, and even make new friends along the way.
As a player myself, I’ve seen that some achievements may progress naturally over time through regular play. That said, I understand that we approach achievements differently, and playstyles can vary. I’m always happy to pass along your feedback to the team.

Thank you very much! One of the unintended consequences of achievements like Rise From Your Grave is that players will spend a lot of time artifically grinding it by delibately dying and getting revived by a team mate. I joined a Gauntlet match where I noticed my other 3 squad mates hid somewhere and spent the entire match repeatidly dying on purpose by shooting mines to spam revives. This spoils the overall experience and will put people off playing the game if it keeps happening.

This achievement is awful. I get that it is a reference to another game but it is nothing but an absolute grind. It genuinely puts me off playing the game. It needs to be changed to a much lower number as soon as possible.
