When are they going to fix the Initiation Battle Royale mode??? Seriously, they couldn't patch it in 4 weeks or do they just want to scrap it entirely? It was the only mode that kept me entertained to pass the time, I couldn't care less about the other modes, not even the ones in the paid game, and definitely not ranked.

Hey, there
Apologies for the late reply on this.
The team confirmed around that time that Battle Royale Initiation had been temporarily disabled while they investigated an issue, and said they'd share another update once it was ready to return.
Since then, there have been several Battle Royale updates and fixes, along with new and returning playlists, but Initiation wasn't removed permanently.
BATTLEFIELD 6 GAME UPDATE 1.3.2.0
Just checking in—have you had a chance to jump back into Initiation since then? If it's still your go-to mode, I'd be interested to hear how it's feeling after the recent updates.

Initiation is still missing - it's been 2 months.

Initiation BR was Duo Gameplay the Casual BR is now Quads. I really liked playing the Duo with my friend, Quads is not so much fun because we always get paired with people that either leave right away or they all run and split up doing their own thing. Bring back Duos shouldn't be an issue if they have made quads work.

I'm not playing and I don't like BR Quads. I don't know what Casuals is, but if it doesn't have bots, I'm not interested. I'm not good at FPS games and I just want a mode to have some fun. Currently, there’s nothing like the old Initiation Battle Royale, which was the only fun part in this game. The game is dead to me, haven't played all season.

Other than the old Initiation Battle Royale, what would make the rest of the game fun for you? I don't play FPS games, so that is fair. What is it about the rest of the game that just doesn't suit you?

The only thing that drew me to this game in the first place was the Battle Royale mode. I bought it hoping I’d enjoy the other game modes, but they just didn't do it for me. Maybe multiplayer FPS games aren't really my thing anymore—they feel way too competitive and aren't much fun if you're not a hardcore player and just want to jump in for a quick session alone or with friends.
The Initiation Battle Royale mode actually managed to deliver on that. It leveled the playing field for both new players and veterans alike. It was so entertaining that I put in over a thousand hours, despite the bugs, cheaters, and all the hurdles along the way—and it was getting better over time. It was a mode that kept me hooked.
Then, Season 3 came around and they removed it. That was the last straw for me. I don't see myself coming back unless they bring back a similar mode for Duos or Solos with a mix of real players and bots.

Thanks for taking the time to explain that.
I think that's an important distinction. It sounds like it wasn't just Initiation itself, but the mode's pace and accessibility that kept you coming back. Being able to jump in, play solo or with a friend, and still have a fun match without feeling like you have to take every game competitively is the feedback players need. You are playing how you want, not how you are forced to.
Sometimes it's less about bringing back one specific mode and more about understanding why players enjoyed it in the first place.
Thanks

4 months just grinding and leveling weapons in case this mode ever returned or they added a similar fun one, but apparently that's never going to happen. Uninstalled. Saving myself time and disk space. Not worth spending another minute on this garbage.

Exactly. And that is partially why we are here. All this feedback is sent to the team. We always need specifics of course, but the why. That comes with actual discussions, not just, fix this or that.
