I bought this game at launch as my friends were buying it too (great friends am i right). And knowing that I could have literally bought anything else or not have spent money on this game this is my last EA purchase ever. I could have bought sandisk instead of this garbage and reaped about a 583% of profit but no I decided to waste my hard earned cash on this as well as my time....

Even if it's not a true Battlefield game, it worth the fun i had with my mates. Solo? Nope. It's cancerous.
And BF6 atm is just to play the season to grab the stuff > quit > then play again the next season. At least this is the loop for me to not waste the 1100 coins i get with every season.
Old Battlefield games pre 2042, was all about FUN. Since 2042, is all about FOMO season stuff, etc. BF7? I don't even wanna know, and not going to get it as well. 6 is my very last, and playing since Battlefield 2. Enough is enough with EA.
Edit; But i will it give it a go to see Goldmud Railway, even if i will be solo, since all my crew stopped months ago.

Not worth full price, only buy it if you see it on sale. Its turning into fast paced COD, people building meta guns and running around sliding and not playing objectives just trying to get kills. No one revives, but this is nothing new. They also blast your screen with popups for the battlepass and skins every chance they get.

I bought it on sale recently and tbh game is just frustrating, big maps = ♥♥♥♥ visibility, get shot from 6 different angles. Small maps, meatgrinder of endless explosions on chokepoints. People running around sliding jumping, pace is too quick and chaotic. You shoot one guy, immediatly get shot from 3 others who seem to appear out of nowhere. People seem to outshoot you all the time face to face, no misses all hit just insta spam you to death.
Anyway, its a skill issue perhaps but this is how it feels to me atm, more frustration and confusion instead of fun.

I guess we all experienced this as a beginner.
I've been playing since BF2 and it feels like that to me at times. Had a round like that last night lol.
I'm old now though, so that's my excuse.

I bought the phantom edition on release and have played 25 hours total so far so at the moment no it absolutely was not worth the phantom edition money.
That being said I bought BF4 at launch, that was a total mess at launch too, to the point I didn't really play that for around a year after release but then spent thousands of hours playing it.
If the dev's keep working on BF6, fixing issues, bugs, releasing content that include large maps then who knows where we will be in a few months.
My current major gripe with BF6 is the maps size, I don't think the actual gameplay is quicker than BF4 for example its just that the maps are much smaller and designed in a way that they funnel players toward each other resulting in the perspective of much faster gameplay and I am to old for that s**t now.
If I wanted to play that fast paced COD style gameplay with small maps I would have purchased COD but I purchased BF6 because I preferer the large scale style maps that the BF series its known for but are mostly currently missing from BF6.
I genuinely feel some quality made large scale maps would improve the gameplay considerably and entice a lot of players (including myself) back.

It seems like most players are over 30, and they're indulging in nostalgia on forums, comparing the new Battlefield games to the previous ones and reminiscing about how great they were back then. Many may have outgrown those games, but they're still trying to recreate the feeling they had 10-15 years ago. 2042 had large maps and 128 players, but everyone still compares it to either the third or fourth installment. In my opinion, it's one of the best games in the series.

2042 had large maps and 128 players
The large maps where pretty much the only thing BF 2042 had going for it, even those where very poorly designed they just felt vast and empty.
The specialists system was a terrible idea with stupid and annoying voice lines, gunplay felt floaty and really bad in general, performance was shocking, net code was shocking, it lacked basic features like a scoreboard or server browser to name a few things from the top of my head. There are reasons that 2042 is widely regarded as the worst BF game of all.
I have played every BF game from 1942 through to BF6. BF 2/3 are great along with BF1 but in my opinion BF4 is the best in the series even to this day.

Yes, BF4 was definitely the best game of this franchise. I played BF2, BFBC2, BF2142, BF3, BF4.
But BF6 is just pure trash -_- I regret buying it in pre-order for 99,99 € -_-
ALL THE TIME UNBALANCED TEAMS is so MAXIMUM ANNOYING! -_-
I made a thread about how unbalanced matches are:

I want a refund because they promised "back to the root", but this trash BF6 is nothing like BF3 or BF4 was -_-
This trash game is so awful to play that it makes me frustrated every time I play is...
