What do you think PAX is? It's a hog posh of nationalities that are unhappy with the status quo that eventually leads into the opposing faction wars of BF2042 that's part of the mercenaries delegated out to the Americans or Russians. Because NATO is eventually dissolved due to the global wars and climate changes. Which is started due to the massive nuclear explosion at the end of the BF6 campaign.
Do your lore research. All the lore from BF1 -> BF5 -> BF3 -> BF4 -> BF6 -> BF2042 -> BF2142 is all tied together.
