Have anyone tried to fly with joystick in BF6? I'm considering in getting one since flying with mouse and keyboard is to weird for me.

I don't think they have official support, but x360 is a mapping tool that allows you to "fake" joystick inputs by putting them through a virtual controller. I've been trying to configure it all day with no luck, so I'd wait a few days and see what people figure out

There is support for joystick in BF6. In cotroller settings, there is a tab on the right,click that and scroll down for setting up joystick. Im just getting started with joystick myself on BF, but right off the bat, id say it feels better than M&K.

I tried mapping my Saitek X52 with the joystick menu but it wasn't registering the inputs. It lets me remap it over the controller settings though for some reason.

It shouldn't be this difficult to use a joystick for flight in 2025. I couldn't get my Sol-R 1 configured for it either.

X56 will only bind the axis on the throttle, but not the buttons. Won't bind at all on the X56 stick. It does also bind my rudder pedals though xD

I just returned the X56. It doesn't map easily. The joystick wouldn't respond at all.

I have both the Logitech Extreme 3d pro, doesn't work (due to logitech not supporting Win11 drivers and secure boot), also NXT Evo, works after a lot of headaches and configuration. What happened to plugging something in and it works? No way your average gamer trying to use a joystick is going to figure this crap out. Plug and play wasn't an issue when i played BF1 & 2. My NTX settings if it helps anyone:
Axes 1: X
Axes 2: Y
Axes 3: Z
Axes 4: Rot X
Axes 5: disabled (uncheck En)
Axes 6: Rot Z
Axes 7: Slider
Axes 8: Dial
If anyone has a better solution, please share!

Same, It picks up my lefty stick but wont let me choose the right stick nor the pedals. Also by default binds look left to the throttle on the NXT base so spawning in you endlessly spin left
