Ever since the recent update, I keep getting disconnected from the majority of games I'm in. It says I'm being kicked for innacitvity while playing the game. Or sometimes just waiting for the game to start in pre game lobby. Disconnects from inactivity. Anyone else having this issue?

Hey,
Thanks for the report. Just to check, are you being removed while actively moving/shooting, or mainly during loading screens and the pre-game lobby?
Also, could you let us know whether you see any error codes or messages besides the inactivity kick?

Do not use adblocking DNS like Mullvad. It will kick you.

Same problem for me. The game starts to load up and never actually loads and then I am disconnected with the timed out error message. No error codes.

Just saw these responses. It seemed to have sorted itself out for a bit. But now the last couple days it has been doing it for every other game or so. I'll be in game, running around, shooting, driving vehicles. Then I just get kicked for innactivity. No error codes or anything. Just says timed out. Pretty annoying as I've lost a few XP boosts now.

Hey,
Sorry you are running into this. Let's try a few troubleshooting steps to narrow this down.
Fully close Steam and restart your PC. Next, turn off your router and unplug it for about 60 seconds. Plug it back in, wait for the connection to fully restore, and test the game again.
Reset your Windows network stack.
Open the Start menu, type cmd, right-click Command Prompt, and select Run as administrator.
Type the following commands one by one, pressing Enter after each command:
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
Once finished, restart your PC to apply all changes.
If you are playing on Wi-Fi, testing with an Ethernet cable can help rule out wireless interference or packet loss.
If you are using any custom or ad-blocking DNS services, try temporarily disabling them or switching to a standard public DNS (such as Google DNS or Cloudflare) to see if that prevents the kicks.
If possible, try connecting to a mobile hotspot temporarily. This can help show whether the connection path is a factor.

Do you happen to use Portmaster by Safing? There is a specific setting there that causes disconnects after 3 minutes.

Twice yes, and also had the game glitch out and actually fully closed out on the computer mid match. Didn't go to the main menu, just full on closed. It would be nice if they would actually listen and fix the bad netcode and desync issue with console players, that would be nice, or just let us have the option to turn off cross play. That would be even better.

I've tried everything you have mentioned and it is still happening.

Hey,
Thanks for checking those steps. Could you confirm if the issue persist on the Ethernet cable and on the mobile hotspot?
