TPM 2.0 is not a real requirement, just an hardware indication, while 'Secure Boot' is mandatory to load up their Javelin anti-cheat and has even become essential for other games
!!
and while gaming profits from Secure Boot, in major it is a general security layer, especially to critical companies and research facilities

2: How to enable Secure Boot

no one will ever going to drop this essential security feature, upgrade your hardware, and .. you are MINIMUM a year too late to this complaining party . . .
also:
Secure Boot has existed for ~20
(!!!)
years yet, if you do not run it already, you are the caveman here, and/or a sad cheater
your complain is like you demand to keep up 16-bit software or think WPA-2 Wi-Fi (4) encryption and/or 128-bit encryption is safe .. NO !! it is NOT !! while a WPA-2 network can even be
"manually"
hacked, penetrated and infiltrated in under 15 minutes nowadays
(i do have such a certificate and license granted by the US DoD)
, todays AES-256 standard encryption becomes obsoleted and superseded soonish too .. well, these old eras are gone . . . and imagine such security breaches with the help of AI tools, too .. now combine AI-tools with Quantum Computers as I had forseen it years ago already . . .
just search the Web and latest news about current competitions and their races to develop the best and most competent AI-controlled breaching software. or about Quantum Computers, which will be capable to decrypt any machine in just a second .. new encryption is developed as a successor to the AES-256 standard encryption already ..
IT advances, especially during past decade, you are obviously not
and please, if you have not yet already, use at least a
Wi-Fi 6 + WPA3
network if being wireless and for your mobile devices for your very own safety and security, same with Secure Boot, and use your
'own'
brain as this has become really rare within this current generation on this low-iq planet
even 30 years ago, running a stable PC environment was never easy, and today it becomes more complex .. would not surprise me if people need to fulfill a driving license to run a computer or any device nowadays, it is a harsh world
about 80 years ago there officially lived about 1.75 billion human beings on earth, today, not even 100 years later, about 8.2 billion .. calculate that curve yourself .. do you even have a slightest idea what on earth is going on and which are the real (global) threats
??
this
Secure Boot
[en.wikipedia.org]
thingy
"was"
just the beginning .. 20 years ago .. currently various OS'es and various firmwares become more hardened and critical system files more isolated, and china hardware globally banned, next step is the next-gen and highly advanced encryption to be released, this will be huge news in about 2~ years and again a next era in IT begins, while you are still 15~20 years behind and perhaps also still running obsoleted HDDs on Windows 7
here, a short HDD vs SSD overview in 2026:
HDD 7200 RPM equals read/write 250 MB/s max, 2 TB, ~150 EUR (Western Digital),
SATA SSD read/write 500~600 MB/s max, 2 TB, ~250 EUR (Western Digital),
NVMe.M2 Gen5 TLC SSD read/write 14 GB/s, 2 TB, 250+ EUR (Crucial / Corsair)
wake up !!
everything has been said for multiple times, steam forums are filled by this topic, good luck
'knowledge is power', and you need to learn & to pay for this intel .. advance, use your "OWN" brain, or fall back, get lost, become forgotten and die alone . . . quickly
