Hello everyone,
I wante to ask because i really confused so many theories regarding CS2 and I'm so confused who to trust and what to trust.... My PC is amd 7 7800x3d, gpu 4070super and monitor BenQ XL2540 240 hertz(Monitor is compatible from Nvidia, was gsync before... on my monitor it activates as Freesync). What should i use with my PC(reflex, reflex+boost or no reflex),gsync, vsync?
I did CS2 benchmark 1920x1080 and I average 786.2 fps / P1=277.8

Reflex+Gsync+Vsync is the dev recommended setting for minimal input lag without tearing. Add boost if you can get 240fps without dips

You're getting 3 times the monitors refresh rate, you need none of these.

Gsync+ vsync + reflex is the way to go.

Reflex on or reflex on + boost: You must test it yourself, every pc is different. If you are using a x3D cpu then reflex is pretty good.

Reflex enabled without boost, disable vsync, and disable gsync, enable boost player contrast, disable ambient occlusion , HDR to quality and disable FidelityFX super res. You should be seamless after that

Your fps is high but frame time I bet you is super inconsistent. Consistent frames > than high fps.

Test with this and pick the setup you get best results with... If you have bad 1% lows that go under your screen refresh rate, I would consider the gsync+reflex+vsync.

This is some of the setups I tested on my pc, I would consider the gsync setup if I had gsync available 😜

You want the gsync sync reflex setup. Been playing for 15 years. It's the smoothest experience with zero tearing and consistent frame times.
